What do you like the most about teaching Greek?
A:

The satisfaction I get when I see the joy on my students' faces every time they make progress in understanding the language. In general, the joy and honor I feel when I am given the opportunity to pass on the knowledge of Greek that I have to others.

A:

In your experience, what are the most common reasons for wanting to learn Greek?
A:

The love for a very ancient civilization, the country itself, which is beautiful and a vacation destination for many tourists, the melody and logic of the Greek language. Also, clearly, the desire to communicate with people of Greek descent.

How difficult is it to learn Greek, compared to other languages?
A:

There is a certain difficulty, as the language is simply different compared to English, for example. However, this does not make the goal of learning it impossible. Its grammar has several exceptions and some confusing phenomena, but even these, with the right approach, can be understood by anyone.

What aspects of Greek culture are your students usually interested in?
A:

In greek mythology, in everyday communication, in the words used today that have replaced those of ancient Greek, certainly in greek cuisine and recipes, but also in traveling within Greece, greek destinations, and the customs-traditions of those places.

What's the hardest part of being a Greek teacher?
A:

I don't see anything difficult!

What makes a good Greek student?
A:

The curiosity to learn whatever one can and the strong will, i believe

A:

i would say certain grammatical phenomena

What is your advice for students who are struggling?
A:

patience and self confidence!

How long does it take to become fluent in Greek?
A:

that always depends... more or less maybe 2 years with a daily interaction with the language, someone can reach a very good level
