The result of my efforts should be your tangible progress on your own goals. For this reason, I constantly ask for your input when determining the focus of our time together. Each student is different, so we will brainstorm enjoyable, practical ways to learn the content and skills you wish to be proficient in. As a trained teacher of English to speakers of other languages, I will create lessons incorporating your goals in fun and focused activities!
Varies by student(s): we can focus more on conversation, reading, writing, listening or even on schoolwork if you are in formal classes elsewhere. We will always be keeping your goals in mind, but we will find ways of learning that won't feel like work to you!

I graduated in May 2017 with an World Languages degree and a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I enjoy helping others succeed and be empowered by their success and their new skill! I know how difficult learning a language is, as well as learning a culture, so I would be happy to help in both aspects of the journey. On my own time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, and of course exploring what I have not encountered yet in this wide world.
