I always assess the current level of Russian in my students before starting developing any curriculum, then I take their personal objectives and needs into consideration. I work only with trusted sources of information, however I never use only one book for teaching, it is normally a collection of materials, elaborately and consistently selected for a specific topic.
The programs vary depending on the level and needs. But basically I set two classes per week, one is for grammar and reading, the other is for speaking and new vocabulary. Writing tasks are generally left for home work, and can be checked by me each meeting. Also I am always open to give short consultations beyond the class time.
