English classes tailored to the needs of the individual or group. We will focus on conversation, everyday expressions, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. You will be practicing speaking, listening, reading and writing.
My style is structured by using various resources such as conversational topics, exercises online, videos, quizzes and games. I keep a journal of the lesson, which I share with the students after the class.
I have a neutral British accent and can explain local idioms commonly used, as well as point out the key differences between American and British English.
We will talk about various topics, such as your daily habits, experiences, interests, thoughts, TV commercials, etc.
In the lessons we will discuss various topics and keep the conversation flowing to maximise practice and improve fluency. I will utilise various resources to keep the classes interesting.

Hi, my name is Alex. I’m a native British English teacher from Bristol, England.
I love to help people learn English and have been teaching online for 1.5 years to students of all ages, nationalities and language levels. I hold a level 5 TEFL teaching qualification. I have been living in Colombia for over 1 year and have learnt Spanish during this time, which has further helped me understand language learning and what is needed to help English students.
My interests include, Spanish, dancing an, Djing and travelling. I focus on conversational English and lots of practice, as this will help students succeed in everyday life, not just to pass exams. The topics will be interesting and relevant, making use of all language skills and keeping classes fun and engaging.
