my piano class will teach private piano lesson to students. I will use method book to teach, with additional external exercises for piano playing. I have my own system to teach, and you can try out my first lesson before agreeing to continue.
I adapt to different kids in a different way. I have a student of age 6 and also 70, and both students enjoy my teaching.
I describe the way of playing the piano in an interesting, approachable way, sometimes with story, most of the time with real-life story that connects to music.
I would like to create monthly performance class gathering among my students, online and offline.
I also have an idea to create technique class that consists of 5-8 students in one meeting.

Valerie is a native Chinese-Indonesia; she was born on July 22, 1997. Started to play the piano at age of 7, she speaks diverse languages, such as Indonesia, Chinese, English, Italian, and basic Russian. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Jakarta, studying under Dr. Johannes Nugroho, and recently graduated from Master’s degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA, under the world renowned pianist Alon Goldstein. In the fall of 2024, she will pursue her study with Davide Cabassi in Brescia, Italy. Valerie has performed in United States, Israel, Singapore, Austria, Netherland, and Indonesia. She received scholarships to participate in Tel-Hai International Piano Masterclass in Israel, Mozarteum Sommerakademie in Austria, and International Holland Music Session in
Netherland. She was also invited by Emerald
Coast Music Alliance Festival in Florida in 2021, and Kansas City “Music For All” to perform classical music for audiences who have less access for classical music.

I taught piano lessons and music theory. I was teaching in Kansas City, USA. My students ranges from age 6-70, with diverse range of nationalities and races. I have my own system of teaching, and students can try my first lesson and decide if they want to study with me.
