Learn English
The name of the course is based on analogy between learning or improving English language knowledge and untangling yarn. The spiral curriculum is set up on structured and gradually drilled materials from simplified easy forms of grammar and speech to more complex levels.
The concept of the spiral curriculum that involved information being structured so that complex ideas can be taught at a simplified level first, and then re-visited at more complex levels later on. Therefore, subjects would be taught at levels of gradually increasing difficultly (hence the spiral analogy). Ideally teaching this way should lead to students being able to solve problems by themselves. My course is based on grammar and immediate drill at each lesson.

Hello dear potential students! I immigrated from the Soviet Union 35 years ago, so it is pretty hard for me to choose my primary language. I am fully trilingual :-))
I got my teaching degree in Montreal, I am an ESL teacher and I also teach French as a second language. What I like about teaching is to learn together with my students, to see their progress in fluency, communication and to help them overcome all difficulties in grammar. If your mother tongue is Russian, French or Hebrew, I can assist you in translation comparison process between all these different languages.
I have extensive experience working in Middle East and here in Montreal. I am also experienced in teaching on Skype, and I really believe in student-teacher mutual connection. I teach all levels of English, from beginner to advanced ones. Talking about my personal interests I have to mention that there are a lot, from music, art and architecture to psychology and genealogy. Besides teaching, I am a pianist, artist, researcher and translator. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Bachelor degree in piano (1981) - Moscow Gnesin College.
Interior design certification (1990) - Montreal.
TESL diploma (2002) - McGill University-Oxford program, Montreal.
I had been teaching piano for 20 years in Montreal before I left to the Middle East to teach English and French. The majority of my students were children from 5 to 17 years old. I taught in National Academy of Music and gave private lessons in Montreal.
From 2002 to 2014 I was teaching in private language colleges and Open University in Israel. I had different group levels from beginners to advanced, as well I was teaching privately business English. I prepared my students for TEFL and ISTL exams in order to immigrate to Canada. My students were engineers, teachers, scientists, architects, and drivers.
